Title: DIR 601 - Need help getting secured!

Help!  Im a typical total neophyte when it comes to hardware and my in house IT person (ie, young person) has moved out and on to greener pastures.  I think i need to secure my router so that anyone other than household members cant access the internet thru my wireless connection.  Any simple and easy to understand securing instructions would be most appreciated!
