Title: Other HDD mode possible beside the recommed one?

Hi

I would like to check if anyone has used other HDD model beside those recommeded from Dlink, even like the speed of 5400?

I have used Hitachi 5K100 and 7K500 drives.

Poor thermal design of the router causing irritating loud fan noise. I hope this issue will be fixed in the next h/w version..

you can wait a long time since this router on the market, only two have been firmware upgrades. hundreds of people waiting just what firmware is working properly and ensures that the fan is not always shall be set. I'm thinking about themselves and to put SSD in it but they are unfortunately still quite pricey :(
