Is the DWA-130 usb compatible with Windows 7 Home Premium?

Yes. be careful though, the drivers are kind of crappy and conflict with the strangest things.

Yes it is.

I just skipped the D-link software because it gave me a unstable connection.

I just went to D-Link, downloaded the correct drivers, extracted them and installed them manually through the device manager.

Works perfectly on my laptop.
