Title: WD no longer shipping WD20EADS Drive - Can I use WD2002FYPS
Post by: cdkone on April 04, 2011, 07:18:34 PM
I have a DNS-321 with 2 WD20EADS drives in a Raid 1 configuration. One of the drives has died, but is still under warranty. WD wants to replace it with the WD20EARS which I see from the forum is not compatable. They said they no longer stock the WD20EADS drive. They have offered to replace both with the EARS but from what I read that is still a problem.

There is another WD drive the WD2002fyps, that was on the ShareCentre DNS-321 list would that drive work with my EADS drive?

Any help would be appreciated
