Hi All,

D-Link has released a major upgrade to higher speeds in the Wireless Range.

DIR-665 Xtreme N® 450 Dual Band Gigabit Router

What adapter will achieve this speed using the Desktop Computer as opposed to the Laptop Computers?

There is not one. Maybe it has not sold enough units or they just forgot.

Are these units on the market yet? Probably wont be forum until they are released to market.

The 665 was released around summer 2010.

I remember this as it was around that time that there were reviews.

Hi Cobra,

I guess the way the D-Link is marketing its routers, its time to jump the ship to a different Brand of Router and go with Customer Support, as oppose to Brand Name.

I would say the Customer Support would top Brand Name. How fast one can connect to speak to a Rep?

D-Link has not come out with any Desktop Wireless Adapter for the DIR-665 Unit.
