Title: DAP-1522 FW 1.40 problem
Post by: llevet on April 09, 2011, 09:49:03 AM
Hi,

I'm just put the firmware version 1.40 from 02/22/2011 and i have a problem with.
I'm in bridge mode and now, the SCHEDULE have disapear ... (in menu ADVANCED).
This is a primordial function for me. My wifi is cut off from 22h00 to 09h00 because the bridge
is in the bedroom of my son.

Even with a full reset, SCHEDULE function is missing.
I revert back to 1.31, and it reappear now.

Thank to fix it !!!

Ludo.

Where did you find Firmware version 1.40? I can't see it on any North American or UK support sites.

Hey , thanks for the link!

The bad news is: Yes, the Schedule feature doesn't seem to be there and there is nothing you can do but downgrade for now.

The good news however: I can Finally configure the Wireless section using FireFox!!!! It's a about frickin time.

The file is listed as Beta03, so maybe they will add the schedule feature back in when it is finally released.

Does this fix the Mac address issue?  Where everything gets the mac address of the Dap.  This is a major issue.  This thing needs to be able to pass the mac address of what is using it Since most new routers use mac addresses for qos setup or if you want to setup reserved ip addresses at the router.
