Title: 655 as Wireless bridge
Post by: amitzahavi on April 12, 2011, 06:38:57 AM
Hi,
I have an ADSL2 connection at home served by a DLINK DSL-2760U modem+router .
I also have a DIR-655 router.
Is there any way I can use the 655 as a wireless repeater/access point/bridge to connect to the 2760U (reception issues between the floors)?

Thanks!
 :)

You could use the 655 as an AP. I might make better sense to get a wireless extender so you can actually relay and extend one wireless SSID. I would bridge the DSL modem and use the 655 as the main router and WiFi AP, then get an extender to connect to it.
