I have a desktop that is wired, and I am using the wireless for my PS3,Xbox 360,and printer. I just purchased a new Macbook Pro. Right now I am using Verizon DSL. Moving at the end of the month, and where I am going to be they have Verizon FIOS. Do you think I will run into any issues trying to set up new network?
-
My MBP runs great on my 4500 at N 5Ghz.
You'll need to probably search here on the forums for FIOS and router setup. I believe there might be some issues with them. I think you can set up external routers with FIOS.

Why wouldn't it run fine, in the end they all relay on the same type of communication, It will run fine.

I think Furry means between FIOS Actiontec device and the 4500. Not 4500 to MBP.

Oh no, I was answering the guys question directly, sorry but it does seems like I was replying to furry. I don't question my fellow mates on the forums. If you say the router runs this way than I would agree, unless I truly believe you are wrong. We are a community of helpers, I believe in you guys.

Everyone's opinion is equally important here. If you have a different thought or idea, then please share it. Questioning each other is actually very important. Its like pier review in the science world. It helps us develope our ideas and improve our skill sets.
PS, Lime, I hope I didn't mean to come off as too strong on that other post. I was responding to the other person about the Dlink Representative. But even that is uncalled for I guess. Alot can be lost in translation between rep and customer, I have just seen it first hand enough that it pushes my buttons. I am truly sorry if I offended you. PLUR my friend. Peace, Love, Understanding, and Respect.
