I'm having problems with setting up a PPTP VPN connection back to the office network. I followed these instructions:
http://files.dlink.com.au/Products/DFL-210/REV_A/SetupGuides/VPN_PPTP_DFL-210_to_Windows_PPTP.pdf
The connection on the client computer (from outside the work network) connects correctly and a local IP address allocated. Pinging this IP address from inside the network is successful.
However the client (outside) cannot ping any computers within the work network, or can it get any access to resources within the network including a network share.
Where am i getting it wrnog?

if the ip rule set its ready to allow the inbound connections from the pptp client to the lan, try using another ip pool different from the lan ip pool for the pptp clients, dont forget to update your ip rules to allow the traffic.
check the pptp client routing table too
