I've been having problems with the Shareport Utility as of late. I noticed that I can get it to pick up USB devices when I shut down my Zone Alarm firewall. Great, now my problem is how can I still have my firewall running and get my Shareport to work? I've looked everywhere in the firewall settings to allow programs to bypass, but it seems more difficult than that. I've also looked in the router settings and noticed that under Advanced the Application Rules might look promising, but I'm unaware of settings ports up and locating them. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Since it is ZoneAlarm that is causing the issue, why don't you look on the ZA forum? This cannot be managed by the router or Shareport utilty. So in order to find a solution you need to get to grips with ZA. (or get another firewall, there's plenty free ones around)

Checked ZA forums long before this one and found no answers or related problems. Seems like I might have to switch Firewalls. Can someone recommend a decent and free firewall that works great with this router? Also how do I view ports and setup it up in the Application Rules?
