When my PC boots-up, the D-ViewCam software logon screen appears automatically .
Question: how does one disable this from happening ???
Thanks... :-*

If you can't find an option to disable (I personally don't have the software installed), on Windows you can go to Start->Run and enter "msconfig". A new window will open. Go to the Startup tab, uncheck D-ViewCam (or an item with D-Link listed as the manufacturer).

I figured it out. It was in the settings - duh :-[

The answer is usually something simple. :)

You can also set Autologin, btw...

I know this is an old, thread, so forgive me.
Mackerel, you have posted several times that with d-link d-viewcam software version 301, that you can do auto login. I can not find that option anywhere.
I have a single DCS-950, connected via network to my d-link d-viewcam software, version 301.
If I click on system comfiguration, I have the options for wizzard, system, user and map.
I have the software shortcut in my startup folder.
I want the software to start up automatically on startup ( I use tweakui, to auto login the PC desktop) and begin recording automatically.
Thanks for your help.

I will look at my settings, but it -is- in general settings, somewhere bottom left. There is a check-mark for auto-login and a button next to it, labeled configure (or something similar). Will get back to you when I have looked at it...
