Title: How to open a DIR-855 ? Mine is broken...

Hello all,

This is my first post here.
I have a DIR-855 but seems there is something moving inside.
I was wondering if someone knows how to open the box so I can have a look inside.

It seems there is no screws but clips... Since I'm not sure, I'll be happy to have some expert advices.

Does the router not work at all?
Are there screws under the rubber feet?

Yea, routers are like asprin bottles. If you have to ask how to open it, chances are you shouldn't. :-) I would say if its working, leave it be. And if it is broken, unless your prepared to solder, there probably isn't a whole lot in there you can fix.

Thank you for the replies, but this does not really help me.
Since something is moving inside, I want to check what it is an possibly remove it.

So any advice on how to open the box are most welcome.

I could indeed send it back, but then, I don't see why I would have asked here.

Your probably best off to send it back to Dlink. If there are not any end user serviceable screws or entry points then it probably needs to go back to Dlink.
