Can't create folder named "recycle". When copy data from my HDD on my PC to NAS, can't copy one folder with name recycle. Then I manualy try to create this folder on shared volume_1 but i can't.
What is the problem?
Sorry for my bad english :)

Did you try manually creating the empty folder on the DNS-320? Not sure if this impacts anything, but the DNS-320 has an integrated "Recycle Bin" option (did you call the folder "recycle" or "recycle bin"?). My line of thinking here (and this is conjecture) is that "Recycle Bin" may be a reserved directory name for the DNS-320.

I try manually, but I can't. Can create folders with different names, but not "recycle". When you go through a web browser and go to the menu, network share, then I may create a folder "recycle".

Are you only prohibited from creating a recycle folder in the DNS-320 root directory, i.e. Volume_1/recycle? Can you create a recycle folder in a sub-directory (e.g. Volume_1/test/recycle)?

Yes. I try to create folder "recycle" in a sub-directory, but I can't. I use Windows 7 64bit Home Premium. Tomorrow I'll try create folder with Windows XP 32bit.

This is correct. The system uses the folder recycle for the samba recycle bin. I will look into this bug and see how we can address it without messing up the current recycle bin implementation. Simplest approach would be to give the recycle for each folder a more unique name.

OK :)
Thanks for help.
