Hi, I am trying to connect my Vizio 26" TV to the internet using my DIR-825 Router. The TV Wireless Network setup is asking for either the Access Point in case of "auto setup"? or in the manual setup:
IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Pref. DNS Server, and ALT DNS Server???
I went into my DIR825 web based control panel, I found the IP Address, and Subnet Mask addresses. I didn't find the Access Point, the Default Gateway, Pref. DNS Server, and ALT DNS Server listed anywhere.
Could someone point me to the right direction? Thanks.

Use auto setup. This will allow the set to get IP information from the DHCP server that is running on your DIR-825 (unless you've disabled that).

Need to make sure the TVs wireless supports the broadcasting rate. I presume 2.4Ghz? What wireless modes does the TV support? Up to N? Or G?
Need to find out what security mode the TV supports? WEP, WPA or WPA2. WPA2 is preferred.
I would trying Single mode G at first with out any security to see if you can get it to connect.
I would use the routers web page to set up a DHCP Static reserved IP address for all devices so they have there own IP address that does not change under Setup/networking.
Ensure DNS Relay is enabled.
Turn off Advanced DNS Services.
Ensure DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual
What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP modem do you have? Stand alone or built in router?
