Title: Cannot Remove Default Network Access Rules - FW 1.04
Post by: phunkfx on May 18, 2011, 09:16:45 AM: I have a DNS-343 (1.04) and I cannot remove the default access rules. I add my own rules, but the default rule will not remove. It allows all users to access everything. I need to remove this rule and use strict security.

Any help? Thanks.

No I did not. I flashed up the firmware when these machines were at base configuration. Now I tried to configure access and can set a good access rule, but cannot remove the default one which trumps the one I just created. Weird.

Glad everything worked out. Was wondering why the DNS would behave that way. Thanks for the update.
