i am trying to access my nas remotely, which port does this run on internally so i know which port to forward on my router?
thanks in advance

Depends what you're after:
FTP -> 20/21; configurable
HTTP -> 80
SMB -> 137,138,139,445; may be others *
* - Strongly advise against exposing these ports to the Internet.
- Would be wise to establish a secure VPN session.

You can ask your router to forward a different port to port 80 of your DNS-323.
