Hi all, what is the biggest size hardrive that the 323 will recognize? I know that on the list of tested hardrives, the biggest is the WD Caviar Green 2TB. But has anyone used a 3TB hardrive in it?

AFT support is only available in the 1.10 FW which is still in Beta. GFT support is not available yet, and may not be provided for the DNS323. Yet to be determined. I sure hope it is.

sorry, can you say that in english please?

HDDs larger than 2TB have special addressing requirements not presently supported by the DNS-323. Firmware updates supporting > 2TB HDDs are under development for the the DNS-320 and DNS-325, but D-Link has not committed (at this time) to providing > 2TB support for the DNS-323 (or DNS-343).

do you know when we'll know?

IMHO, I suspect support for > 2TB HDDs on the DNS-323 is questionable (i.e. up in the air). We'll just have to wait and see. There's no formal firmware release schedule posted for these types of things.

if they have it on the 320, why wouldn't they put it on the 323? isn't the 323 higher end than the 320?

This functionality is under development for the DNS-320 and is not yet available. The DNS-320 is a newer product and was released well after the DNS-323.
