Post by: Sarvesh on May 23, 2011, 04:23:44 AM
404 Not found
File not found.

I get this message often when trying to access the router. It happens if it stays on for about 5-6 hours and i usually notice a "brake effect" on the network and i need to reboot to get access and set everything normal.
I am on 2.05NA.

What ISP service do you have? DSL or Cable?
What ISP modem do you have? Stand alone or does it have a built in router by chance?
How are you connecting Wired or Wireless?
What wireless modes are you running? Mixed? Single?
What FW version is currently loaded?
Any cordless phones in the house?

Does this happen when using a different browser?

DSL
Built in router..but has been disable and connected in bridge mode
1 wired NAS and the rest wireless
mixed g & n
2.05NA
No wireless phones
yes it happens.

The pattern of this: Usually after a day..or after a couple of hours of heavy network usage like backing pc upto nas.

How are you accessing th router's internal web pages?  (I hope you are using the internal LAN IP addresses 192.168.xxx.xxx style)

Using DCHP Reserved IP addresses for you devices on the router?
QoS enabled or disabled?
DNS relay enabled?

Possibly try going back to v2.03. I'm on that now with my B2 HW.

This happened to me with several pages under 2.05NA, but when I went back to 2.03NA it would work great. I gave up for several months thinking the firmware was bad. Finally did the 30/30/30 reset and loaded 2.05NA, works great now. Several months ago their was a handfull of people out here that were also getting the 404 error as I was when 2.05NA first came out, I assume they went back to 2.03NA and lived with it. My IPV6 was also not working under 2.05NA untill I did the reset. Now I have over 10 days on it with no problems, no reboots, no 404's, nothing! It just works. The WiFi signal when compared to 2.03NA even seems a little stronger. Glad I gave 2.05NA a second chance.
