Title: now to install transmission

Hi !

i've read all the guides and i still don't understand what is it with the fun_plug and putty and stuff like that and what this has to do with transmission and every body writtes a different guide.

is there a other bittorent client than transmission ???

First of all, fun_plug is a modification so you can't expect to work as a native solution.
Many guides provide info for installation some (non-official) addons like transmission.
Be sure you following for the right device.

As far as i know, there isn't other alternatives, so it's wise to go to fun_plug support forums to see if is possible to add any other torrent client...

Yes, there are other torrent client....for example, the client was installed into the firmware.

But, transmission is transmission.

Be careful, Transmission 2.31 have a little bug. You can download OK, but seeding is not ok.

Install Transmission 2.22. Tested with 3 firmwares (1.0, 2.0 and 2.01) and works fine.

At first, install fun_plug 0.5, then curl, and then transmission.
