Title: When will dns-320 work with mac os 10.6
Post by: poff on May 30, 2011, 03:33:18 AM
Since this forum seems to be frequented by some of the firmware development team. Can someone please tell me, exactly when will the dns-320 start to work with mac os (afp or samba). It certainly doesn't work with the available firmwares (1.0 and 2.0).

Also did anyone even tested it with mac os before starting selling it as mac compatible? A google search for "d-link dns-320 mac os" suggests not.

10.6 ruined Samba support for ALL nas not just D-Link NAS's. The blame is Apple not D-link. We are seeing what work around we can do to improve what apple broke however for now I would suggest turning on AFP since that is apples native protocol.
