Title: How to remotely reset DCS-930
Post by: three_jeeps on May 31, 2011, 07:33:50 AM
I never needed this feature till now...Is there a way to reset the camera remotely, via the browser interface or a FTP connection?

I can't find a "reset camera" button on the web interface...unless I've overlooked it.

Help/suggestion pls?

The DCS-930L web interface has an option labeled "Reboot the Device" under Maintenance -> System

It's easy to miss. The verbose button label kind of blends in with everything else on the page.

Can someone tell me how to configure html on a web page to send the "setSystemReboot" command to the camera?
I can't get it to work. What I tried was -
<a href='http://IPADDRESS:PORT/setSystemReboot'>Reboot</a>
Other commands do work, such as -
<a href='http://IPADDRESS:PORT/stsdev.htm'>status</a>
<a href='http://IPADDRESS:PORT/iphone.htm'>Image</a>
but the Reboot is a POST while those 2 are a GET ...
