Title: DIR-632 works wired but not wireless
Post by: bguillery on June 11, 2011, 10:33:39 AM
After following the "Connect to Another Router" set-up instructions I connected the DIR-632 to an existing network switch with a Ethernet cable plugged into the Lan Port 1.  I then plugged my computer via a Ethernet cable into the DIR-632 Lan Port 2.

I can browse the network and am able to connect to the other computer on the network.  I can also browse the internet without any problem.

I then disconnected the Ethernet cable from my computer and the DIR-632 and connected to the DIR-632 through my computer's wireless device.

When I try to browse the network I don't see any computers on the network and I can't browse the internet.

Any Ideas?

Using Reserved IP addresses on the router for your devices?
Ensure DNS addresses are filled under Setup/Internet/Manual.
Ensure DNS relay is enabled.
Ensure devices are set to Auto Obtain IP addressing.
Change WiFi modes from Mixed to Single mode G to test, then try Mixed G and N if you have N supported devices.

Ensure your connecting to your Wireless SSID and not someone elses.
