Title: QoS in bridged mode
Post by: twlawson on January 23, 2009, 01:15:08 PM
I'm using the DAP-1522 as a bridge to my DIR-825. The only two things connected to the 1522 are my Xbox 360 and PS3. I have QoS enabled on my 825. My question is, do I also need to enable QoS on the 1522, or should I leave it off since it's enabled on the router?

QoS is only for the WAN side (i.e. router)

QoS is only for the WAN side (i.e. router)

I thought that was the case, but I'm confused as to why the latest firmware (1.20) enabled QoS in bridge mode. Is it for use when the router that you are bridged to doesn't have QoS?
