Title: laptop without a cd drive, still possible to connect to internet?
Post by: brtdvs on June 17, 2011, 07:22:52 PM
I just got this router and it is working with my pc. wireless internet, however is not working despite trying to connect through a USB drive. My laptop which is what i'm trying to connect to the internet from is not picking up my server, and i'm wondering if the problem is that I have not used the cd that came with the router. My laptop does not have a cd drive and I do not have a portable drive to connect it to. Could this be the problem??

You do not need the CD to get the router to connect to the internet. It can be configured by opening a web browser and going to 192.168.0.1
