Title: DIR-655 Dynamic DNS Issue
Post by: cpmiller22 on June 22, 2011, 01:28:51 PM

I'm hoping to setup my DIR-655 to keep my Dynamic DNS updated, but am having some issumes I hope someone can help me with.  My DNS service is with TZO and my previous router worked great.  I also read the following thread with a similar issue but no resolution:

I've tried several different settings, but it always says "disconnected".  Can anyone provide some help to get it working?  I really don't want to have to install the client software on my server.

Thanks!

Does using ISP DNS under Setup/Internet/Manual work ok?
Just curious.
Is Advanced DNS Service enabled or disabled?
Is DNS relay enabled or disabled?

Advanced DNS is not enabled, and I can't find the dns relay option to see if it is enabled.

DNS Relay is Enabled.  Any thoughts on a fix?
