Title: Hopelessly newbie question
Post by: grnskl on January 25, 2009, 01:51:27 AM
I wish to remove the 625 from one shelf to another, for better transmission. Can I unplug it for a few minutes and replug it without having to start all over again and reinstall, etc.?

You can safely turn the router off for a few minute since the settings are stored inside the router in "non-volatile" memory.  Most of the setting are permanently stored in the router.   You might only have to renew the IP address on the PCs after (either renew for Ethernet, reconnect for wireless.)
