Title: help with dap 1522

I am trying to get my dap 1522 to connect with my lan.  I have a dgl4500 and that is running fine.  I spent over 3 hours with dlink tech support and they were useless after 30 mins.  they say the problem is my device. 

All i am trying to do is have my satellite receiver be connected to the dap 1522 and have that connect wirelessly to my network.  any help/ advice will be much appreciated.
