Hi,
I have have my Dir-655 set up as an access point for awhile and would like to change the wireless access code. I can't seem to figure out how to access the setup menu while it is an access point to do this. Can someone tell me how I access the router when it is set up as an access point?
Does it have its own IP address and if so it there a way to figure out what that might be?
Thanks

look at the connecting device were the 655 is connected to and see if you see an IP address for it there. You should beable to connect to the IP address it's assigned for the 655.

Thanks for the tip, I had looked at the main router and did not see an IP address for the DIR-655. I thought maybe that had something to do with the way it was set up as an access point. It seems to be working without the IP address, is it possible it is hidden somehow?

BUMP!
Me too! My DLS router doesn't list ANY IP for the DIR-655, in access mode only. I want to try to change my guest network settings, and cannot access the setup page. 192.168.0.1 takes me to my DSL router, and only the 3 wifi items are there...

Probably, you will have to plug a pc into a dir655 wired LAN port directly and see if you can access it that way using the the 192.168... of it when you configured it to be an AP....
Just a thought
