Currently we don't have plans to add securespot to that router. If we do add it, there will be a notification of new firmware sent to your router.

Which routers are you planning to add it to? the 855?

I spoke with bsecure and they said the 825 was slated
for the upgrade but didn't know when.  The 655 is OK but
I'd like the simultaneous dual band capability of the 825 to
keep n on the 5GHz band.

Secure Spot should be offered via 825; since, 825 is part of your newer product line.
Very disappointing to here that Secure Spot is not currently a planned enhancement.

Secure Spot on your routers is unique in the market place and architecturally a superior solution
to another box and heavy client side solution.

This is a major differentiator.

IMHO I don't see it not happening, but as a D-Link employee I can't comment on the if or when.
