Title: western digital usb portable hard drive shareport problems disconnecting

Trying to connect western digital usb portable hard drive to router usb and shareport - keeps disconnecting... I'm on a wireless laptop, by the way. Have all the latest firmware and shareport, ect...

 How am I to configure the shareport and/or the usb harddrive. Keep getting error "Did not disconnect properly" every 20-30 seconds...

***Anyone know the typical data transfer speed of USB portable HDD connected to DIR-655 vs. direct usb 2.0???

might be that your port is faulty? tried a diff port?
