Title: Traffic stats page
Post by: firetech on July 10, 2011, 01:36:22 PM
Hello all;

I was just wondering on the stats page of my DIR-615 the WAN Stats is in packets. How do I convert that into megabytes and gigabytes so I can track my usage?
Since AT&T put in caps and do not provide a usage meter. I would like to keep track of my usage.

Thanks

Might try to search the internet for "network traffic meter" and see if you can find something that you can use to track...

DO you have multiple PCs or game consoles?

Yes, multiple computers.

I did a quick search but not much out there for meters.

I feel I'm in the dark. I have no idea how much I use. Almost like filling your gas tank and having no fuel gauge.

I feel an update for the firmware from d-link would be nice. I am even willing to pay for it. (Hello D-Link development department!)

And AT&T doesn't have any billing and usage tracking any where on there site? Theres got to be something they have. I know they have usage tracking for cell phones, they have to be able to show you usage tracking for Internet as well. It's a service and you pay for it and they need to be able to prove to you what you use. Specially if something happens and you had to get the law or lawyers involved, how in the world would they prove your usage. I know my ISP has a meter.
