So I understand the dviewcam software doesn't run natively on a Mac (I'm not going to plunk down hundreds of $$ for a windows license and emulator.) Is there any other method for recording the video stream from my camera?

replying to my own thread :D
Turns out you can use Quicktime Player X to do a screen capture of the live video feed. It's a bit manual and can't be triggered via motion detection but it does work. Would be nice if this could be done natively on the Mac or if the camera could trigger a script somehow (maybe that's doable via the FTP upload. I'll have to play with that.) But if you want to capture the camera video (and I goes audio too if you install soundflower) you can do with with Quicktime Player X and the live video feed from mydlink or the camera IP via the browser.

Would you be able to provide some additional details on how to set up the Quick Time portion?
Thanks
