Hello
I just bought this router. Unfortunatly im losing close to 3mpbs !
When I was connected directly to the modem i had a little over 12.5 mpbs
Now im stuck at 9.5mbps and it won't go higher!
I read a bit over the forum. I tried turning off the QOS but it didn't change a thing.
Here a little extra information;
My internet provider is Cogeco
MY computer is wired
I tried 2 internet tester, both give me the exact same result
please help me!

What HW version is your router?
What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router?
Ensure you turn off ALL QoS settings to be sure.
Ensure DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual?
Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option.
Turn on DNS Relay under Setup/Networking.
Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices on the router.
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP.
Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing.
Turn off all devices accept for one wired PC while testing.

What ISP modem do you have? Model?
Ensure the cable between the Modem, router and PC are in good working order.
Swap out cables for known good ones. Cat6 is preferred. Shortest possible between Modem and router.

MY ISP modem is a ARRIS TM722
I tried switching the wires but nothing changed
My old router didnt make me lose any mbps. I changed it because it simply stoped working. So i don't think the wires are the problem :S

This Arris modem have phone services by chance or just internet?
Arris and some external routers have been know to have some connection and speed issues. Especially with Phone services.
-
yes the phone is connected in the modem

Under Status/Device Info/Wan section, are you getting a 192.168.#.# IP address or a ##.##.###.### address?
Seen similar issues with Arris modems and routers. Hasn't been a good combination.
What FW version is currently loaded?
Maybe we can teamviewer.com and check your router settings.
-
Also we can try setting up WAN Traffic Shaping options with out the QoS options and see.
-
i get a ###.###.##.### ip adress
btw. i sent you a email with my team viewer information
