Hi all
I have tried everything I can think of but since purchasing my 615-N router from DLink, I haven't been able to get online via wireless internet from another computer in this apartment. The router seems to be working fine - I have a LAN connection through it to this computer I'm on now and the PS3 hooked up to the wireless signal just fine. It is the one desktop computer though. The only thing I can think of is that I am using an old g adapter. I didn't think this would matter because the N router can supposedly communicate with g and b devices. I ensured that the settings on my router were set to talk to g devices but it still cannot connect.
Any tips or advice on what I am doing wrong? Is there any reason a G adapter wouldn't work with my new N router?
Thanks so much ???

What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? WEP, WPA or WPA2? Preferred is WPA2.
Try turning off security temp while your testing the G adaptor out, see if it will connect.

Thanks. I switched to WPA2 security setting and reinstalled the g wireless adapter on the computer before trying it again. I already had it set to g and n mixed. Now it works. Thanks very much.
