Title: What happened to firmware version 1.20?
Post by: rdodolak on January 27, 2009, 07:50:52 PM
I noticed today that the previous 1.20 firmware for the DAP-1522 has been removed from the dlink.com site.  Is there a problem with this firmware release?

I first noticed on 1/18 that release 1.20 was supposedly posted to the dlink support site toward the beginning of January.  I downloaded that version the same day and loaded it to my DAP-1522.  However, today I noticed the 1.20 release has been removed from the dlink support site and ftp server.  The release notes were last modified yesterday, 1/26, which no longer mentioned the 1.20 release.

Do I need to revert back to 1.10?'

EDIT:  Added link to google cache showing v1.20.

I would also like to know the answer to this.

Rdodolak, did you downgrade to 1.10?

No I haven't since I have yet to experience any problems with this firmware.  The following link was the only other reference to the v1.20 firmware that I could find on the internet from other users.  That user seemed to experienced some problems and had some issues with downgrading the firmware.

Still waiting to here from dlink or a mod on this forum?

I've not been given an answer, I can only assume they found some type of bug or flaw. I'll see if I can find out and keep you posted.
