Title: Downgrade to 1.11
Post by: mecra on January 27, 2009, 09:58:41 PM
Hey all. I'm new to the forum and I was just asking how would someone downgrade to 1.11? Or, actually is it even possible since I get the "May not be correct" error.

Thanks in advance. :)

If you have a newer router you may not be able to go to the 1.11.  What is the Hardware Version of your router?

A4 version does not allow downgrade to 1.11 due to the new wireless radio that has been introduced with this version.

With the constant lockup issues (say every 12-14 hours) when running v1.31, I'd like to downgrade my unit to v1.11. My hardware is A3. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thank you for your time!

There are atleast 2 threads about this lock up on 1.31.

Disable "DNS relay" and it should work.  You will probably need to restart your computer after you disable it.

Thanks. I posted on the "freeze" topic too and someone else mentioned that. I'm giving it a try. Thanks again!
