Hi guys,
Running Mac OSX 10.6.8 with a DNS-320
When I create a share and try to copy files to it, only the directory structure is copied but no files.
Tried upgrading to the 2.0b6 firmware and it didn't help at all.
Sent an email to DLink TSupport but haven't gotten any response at all. Probably because it's the weekend.
Has anyone been able to solve this? I've seen other posts around the internet but no solution other than implementing NFS which is just a very very poor workaround.
I have a QNAP TS-109II and a Cisco NSS4000 and they both work perfectly with OSX...

No response via my email request or this forum? Brutal.
I'm sending it back to TigerDirect. It's a shame because the front end is beautiful but unfortunately it just equates to a well-painted turd. If it looks good but doesn't work, it's worthless.
Thanks for nothing Dlink. I'll be avoiding your products and recommending others do the same.

Got an email asking for me to call Live Tech Support.
I did. Was on hold for a while and then connected to someone with an Indian accent (remote call center for sure). The guy clearly knew very little about OSX and was *zero* help.
That's the last straw. This thing is going back!
DLink - for shame! Your engineering teams should be flogged.

Try using a nfs share instead of samba... then it worked for me.
Enable nfs on the nas, create a share and in host put the ip of you mac
then connect to the share
nfs://ip of you nas/mnt/HD/HD_a2/name of the share

I've seen that suggestion but I have multiple Macs so that's a no-go.. :(

Did you try using AFP instead of SMB ?
