I have configured ftp via the advanced tab on my DNS 323. I do not know how to login to the ftp server. what do i enter in the my browser? Example below, where do I find the info?
ftp://YourFtpUser:YourFtpUserPassword@yourdomain.com

You should know the info from when you configured the ftp server.
You had to create a user - so you know YourFtpUser - you had to give the user a password - so you know YourFtpUserPassword - the @yourdomain.com is not required unless it's a part of the password

Thanks. Should there not be an ip address or something.
I tried ftp://username:password, but just got an error screen. Windows could not find it.

Read this link

Thanks that is very helpful.
Stupid question: what is my server name? generally speaking.
When I log in to my device, where can I find the name.
-
If you set the ftp server up - you know the user name, you know the password, you know the server name, you know it's ip address - these are all things that YOU have to configure.

Melbri, one bit of information we haven't been given is what FTP client are you using, or are you just trying to use a web browser?
If it's just the browser you need something like ftp://192.168.20.35/ which will bring up a log in screen for you to enter user name and password (use your correct IP address for your DNS-323).

That's what I had expected to see, somethiong with the IP address. I am trying to access over a website and I do apologize for not being too specific. I am not techniaclly inclind and I am at work so I cannot provide any more info than what is in my head. I will give that a try tonight.
Thanks.

I tried ftp://ipaddress, but said it only allows one user at a time. I have it set to its default of 10. Also, there are 2 ip addresses, don;t know which is correct. IP address and gateway ip address. Also, the address is 10.x.x.x, as opposed to somehtin gike you showed, 192.....
