My Gamefuel Rules List

I tried to follow FurryNutz's GameFuel Guide but was confused at the part shown above. First off, I wasn't sure why his priority list was set up this way. It looks like the 2 xboxes are prioritized at 200, which is close to the lowest priority. Secondly, I also wasn't sure why his Local IP Range's weren't the same. I know that the two xboxes must have different IP addresses, but how come they didn't match the ports IP range? What I mean is, the two xboxes end with .7 and .3 but the ports end with .49 to .50. Lastly, his protocols and ports for the two xboxes says 0 / 65535. In his guide it says that the ports and protocols were 0 / 3074. If someone could clear this up it would be much appreciated. Also, if you need more details I'll be glad to share them.

SAE and Furrynutz are PCs, not game consoles. I put them in the rule to show that you can have PCs in gamefule as well so when xboxes are online at the same time with PCs, the router can help manage traffic and still giving priority to the xboxes so they have good gaming experience while still providing internet to the PCs.
Just remove the xbox console rule you have at the top and your good to go.

Thank you for clearing that up FurryNutz. It makes more sense now.

Keep us posted.

So, from my understanding. It should look something like this with two xboxes connected. Let me know if I did something wrong.

Delete both xbox 360 slim and Jerm's xbox from the rules.

Excuse me of my stupidity. So, it looks like all that is needed to be done is to set rules for the ports and a few of the tweaks that were mentioned in FuzzyNutz's guide. Hopefully, somebody else will learn from this.

you get it working?
-
It was working fine even with all those other rules I had. Thanks for all your help FuzzyNutz.

Good to hear, enjoy!!! ;D

Can I ask why you blanked out the first three octaves under "Local IP Range"? I mean your welcome to remove anything you wish for privacy reasons, but wouldn't those IP start with 192.168? Or are you using some other IP scheme? If so, that may be quite relevant. Also, I am still not sure gamefuel works without gamefuels unless you have UPnP. I would be curious if someone could disable UPnP on a PS3 and see if they can get NAT2 with Gamefuel rules alone.

What kind of experiences are you getting Harry?

Haven't tried it yet. I will try testing it tonight after work.

We eagerly awake your results sir. ::)
