Title: ridiculous log with ftp transfert

The amount of log lines generated when transferring files through ftp is ridiculous.

A line is appended to the log after each 65536 bytes transfer. This results in a "full log file" being emailed to me 6 times for a 325MB file (I enabled email notifications).
Programmers know that writing log files actually slow down your process.

I will only use SMB starting now !
