Hey Folks,
Wondered if anyone can tell me the *least* painful way to migrate from a working DNS-321 setup to a DNS-323?
Naturally, I'd like to preserve my data. Yes, I have a separate backup, but wondered if there's any strategy I can use to avoid starting from scratch (restoring from that backup).
TIA for any info/advice! :)

It appears you received an answer to your duplicate post on the DNS-323 forum: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=39986.0 (for any other DNS-321 users interested in the solution).

I checked out that answer (and a bit more information from the OP about what he is trying to accomplish). Since you are not disabling the 321, why can't you just set up the new 323 from scratch, then copy the files from one to the other. Might take a while at 321/323 speeds, but that seems to me to be pretty painless.

I think he was looking to avoid the prolonged copy across the network. Although, since the post is over a month old, I presume that one way or another he achieved his intended results.

Quick update - too many things this summer conspired to prevent me from proceeding. I've finally brought up my 323 and after reading MANY posts on various D-Link forums, I decided to bite the bullet and just transfer across the network from the 321 to the 323.
Thanks all for you input! :D

I'm glad everything worked out. Sometimes the brute force method is the best approach.
