I've looked and can't find how to block a website (specifically youtube.com) and also limit an I.P. address on my home network to 100MB per day download.
Is this possible?
I have Houghesnet and I am only allowed 400MB D/L per day, and want to limit my sons computer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Limiting bandwidth is not possible on these routers or any Dlink router that I've seem this far.

Well 100MB a day won't be enough for a single youtube video at 720P maybe like 2 videos on 240P.
But as the man with the furry nutz said, on the DGL 4500 you can't. Chances are you can monitor and block the bandwidth usage of each computer in your house but that would required a program installation, also you can try a DNS sever to block certain sites but keep in mind they user will know he was blocked by the network administrator. As always have a great day.
Also to help you understand how much GB an average home consumes, I have included my home data usage.

Also note that this data is from the 7/15/11 to the 8/5/11

Ouch, how do you do any gaming at all with a 300kb up cap? I assume nothing else is available in your area? Your latency must be...well litterly in outerspace.

Just curious here, You have a DGL-4500 router?
Just wondering if your being capped and under limits, maybe this router isn't the best thing for you as it's really meant for unlimited use internet for gaming and downloading. Having caps and limits really doesn't help take full advantage of this routers capabilities.
I know that everyone can't afford higher speed packages. What is your speed package that your paying for from the ISP?
Are there any other ISPs and better internet packages around with out caps and limits?
