Title: HELP dir-632 shareport issue

Hello people i recently bought a Dlink DIR-632 router and everything has been working splended however now that i am trying to se tup the usb share port on it it doesnt seem to be working for some reason can anyone tell me what i may be doing wrong? i have installed the share port software on my computer  and still nothing. the hard drive i am using is a lacie 2TB please help!
