Title: Help! Seagate HD firmware problems! How to update Seagate HD firmwares??

Hi! Seagate has just admited that their HD models ST3500320AS, ST3500620AS, ST3500820AS, ST3640330AS, ST3640530AS, ST3750330AS, ST3750630AS, ST31000340AS [207951] have firmware problems:

Therefor, how can i Update my HD firmware (I've got a RAID 1 with ST3500320AS) ???

Remove them from the DNS-323...
Plug them on an other computer
user the bootable CD-ROM utility that Seagate Provides to upgrade the Firmware
Follow Seagate's instructions

I was worried about this two, having two 1 TB drives in my DNS-323 that were affected by the problem. Although I do have a Windows Vista box in the house, I'm mostly a Mac user. I was able to upgrade the firmware using my MacBook Pro, booting into DOS from the ISO image that Seagate provided (burned to a CD). In my case, the magic was possible thanks to my Griffin eSATA Express Card jacked into a hard drive dock. Worked like a charm!

well, i've got a MBPro too, but without eSata card... will see if i can get a PC for upgrading... THANKS!
