I just recently purchased this router, as well as a motorola SURFboard eXtreme Cable Modem. I am running Cable through Charter. I installed the modem correctly, it has internet etc.. I plugged up the router, and went through all of the settings that I could find for the fixes that I have been having problems with. My Macbook connects just fine (except the occasional drop where it says "no IP located" or something to that extent) My Xbox and Iphone both connect to the router, but seem to have no internet connection. My computer has it though. Im completely frustrated because I am not that great with computers.
To make a long story short:
Macbook connects to router and has internet.
Xbox & Iphone both connect to router with no internet access. (Xbox live says it is not receiving the IP from my ISP or w/e) Iphone just says its not connected to the internet.
FML :rage:

How is everything connected to the router, wireless, wired?
-
Everything is wireless so far. So I have established the connections, but XBL won't connect (It shows that it is connected to the router, but when I run "test connection" it won't fully connect. It says something like (Xbox couldn't connect to router using static IP) or w/e...
And my iphone just says that there's no internet connection

Sound like your ISP's are not matching, have you set up your router per the XBL sticky? Put your xbox to auto for isp
Here is a t/s guide for wireless.

First check the physical connections.
Modem > ethernet to internet jack on DGL-4500 > ethernet from LAN jack to computer.
Power everything down.
Turn on modem, wait until the lights look normal.
Turn on DGL-4500.
Turn on PC.
Go here (http://192.168.0.1/Status/Device_Info.shtml)(leave password field empty) and copy/paste the info into a Private message to me. I will remove personal data and repost. Or feel free to remove MAC and IP address(under WAN)

I went in and enabled the DHCP server :P
For some reason, it was unchecked, and wouldn't stay checked when I would select it.

after you selected it, did you select Save settings and let the router restart?
Need someone to take a look at th router settings, let me know...I use teamviewer.com its free and safe.
