Title: External 2 TB Drive USB
Post by: teros on August 21, 2011, 06:46:59 PM
Hey,

I've seen something using funplug but has anyone just seen an installable ap (via module's in device webpage) that will allow mounting of external HDD's???

Anyone been able to get a usb hub working on this as well?

The USB port is exclusively for connecting a printer. As far as I know, no third-party application was created to re-task the USB port to support an external storage device.

Update: I recently read somewhere that a hack exists via funplug to retask the USB port on the DNS-323 to accommodate USB storage devices. You'll have to do some digging to find the hack and determine whether an equivalent hack exists for the DNS-343.
