I am in the market for a router for sure, but need to provide wireless access reliably to my main home (3K square feet), and a guest home about 250 feet away from the main home. No gaming is necessary. I would like the router to have at least 4 gigabit ethernet ports. Wireless N is preferable and dual bind would be nice (especially if it enhances range, but I am not knowledgeable on that subject). I do have a HD TV that is wireless and a BD drive as well in the main house. The needs in the guest house are mainly just wireless g/n access without HD needs at this time.
Wondering what selection of router and/or range booster would help provide reliable wifi access.

The 825 does very good and should be able to handle some of your main house needs. Most of todays routers all come with 4 ports, and mostly are Gb however you should check the specs to make sure. Most Dlink routers do as well as the 825. I enjoy the 825.
As for a booster or relay or extender, I would check out the new DAP-1525 booster. I haven't had a chance to yet. This might help to get signal out to the guest house. 250feet is a ways. Patrick on here has had good experience with a 1watt non-Dlink access point and seems to cover 1/4mile I think. Might look into this if maybe one of Dlink's DAPs don't work well.

OK, thanks. Any more info on how to find the post on the 1watt AP? I did not see it. Also, if anyone out there has tried the 1525 booster and can comment or if there is a single wireless router that should work for me please let me know.
