Title: Motion Detection
Post by: izenmike on September 08, 2011, 01:14:15 PM
Ever since I upgrade the firmware and reset my camera, motion detection has gone haywire.  I need help in clarifying this.  With the 1.0 (old) firmware the blue grids indicated where you DID NOT want motion detected.  In the latest firmware this appears to different (or at least I thought so.)  I am getting captures every few seconds regardless of where I as the detection to be or not.  So, how do I indicate where I want motion to be detected (blue or no blue grids) and if the sensitivity number is low, does it that mean it requires a lot of motion to capture?

Correct, lower sensitivity should require more motion to trigger an image capture. Did you try reducing the sensitivity to a very low number (e.g. < 5%) to test the motion triggering?
