So my DNS-323 has been seeming acting up the last 2 weeks or so…
I'm still able to access everything from my computer, but I've been having troubles streaming videos, and have also noticed that transferring files to and from the NAS seems slower then usual.
Not only this but the last 2 weeks every time I try to access the bit torrent admin screen I get a "Connection to server failed." error.
I'm just wondering what might be happening and how I can go about resolving these problems?

wondering as well as mine started to go flaky.
Have noticed when I go to open a folder (via My Network Places and XP) some will open right away other times just get the hourglass point and nothing and need to X out. Same problem opening some folders using WDTV media players. Finding as well starting to get hangs when streaming to the WDTV.
Also recently started using Bittorrent and from the login I'll select "Applications" and when I select "Bittorrent" I'll get "Connect to server failed". Also couple of times I've started a download and will go back a couple of hours later and find the download is missing (not in application webpage nor showing in completed/uncompleted folders and torrent itself not in the torrent folder).
Ran the NAS Performance test utility and there is a drop in read speed from a couple of months ago (now 7.98MB/sec before 19.3 MB/sec) write speed though about the same (19.3MB/sec).
DNS323 is connected to a Linksys E3200 router with the PC and WDTV (hard wired), second WDTV is connected connected through a DLink DGS1005G switch. Problems also using the wireless connect to laptops.

This happened to me and it ended up one of the drives in the unit was faulty. I was on a RAID format/configuration at the time.
If you are on a RAID format remove one of your drives to see if it improves or gets worse. If it is improves the drive you removed is your bad drive. If there is no change, put that drive back in and remove the other drive. If this time it improves then that second removed drive is your issue.
If you try this and no improvement either way then it is something else which I don't know.

not running a RAID and although not really any worse, not getting better, wondering if I should be looking for warranty support?

Pull one of your drives and see if there is a difference. If no difference, reinstall the pulled drive and pull out the other drive to see if there is a difference in performance.
Did you do this?
