Title: Lion fix for DNS-343?
Post by: ncsamiam on October 03, 2011, 07:06:20 AM
Greetings,

I see that there is new FW for the DNS-320 to fix the Apple Lion incompatibilities.  Is there going to be an update for the DNS-343?

Thx

The last DNS-343 firmware update was released earlier this summer (June 2011). D-Link does not publicly provide pre-release schedules for firmware updates, so the date (and content) of any future DNS-343 firmware release is presently unknown.

Sorry, but no public statement or indication from D-Link on this matter.

Hey!  Can I ask what your issue or error is?  I'm jumping in because with my MacBook Pro, which runs Lion, I have no issues with accessing my DNS-343.

One thing I did discover:  the workgroup name DOES matter in your network settings on both devices, in case you haven't checked that out.  (If they don't, Lion will throw you all MANNER of bizarre error messages that are dead ends.)
